Tucked away in peaceful surroundings, your experience begins as you leave your vehicle behind. Grab a trolley if you need one, lamps and torches included and make your way across to the woodland footpath. Prepare yourself for a little hill (sturdy shoes recommended) and make your way through the woods to the hut tucked away behind the tree line on the edge of the private nature reserve.

Wake to birdsong and open your doors to fresh country air and uninterrupted tranquility. Spend your days exploring the maze, the stone circle, the activities at Aston Springs and nearby walks and attractions. Enjoy lazy lunches, or simply unwinding with a good book and a glass of something special.

Here are some great things to do for a relaxing weekend break around our location as we are close to the motorway (Junc 31 on the M1) and at the cross roads of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire there are many places of interest at your fingertips.— whether you’re into gentle outdoor exploration, scenic country parks, historic sites or easy-going local attractions.

A weekend around Aston, Sheffield offers the perfect blend of countryside calm and easy-going local charm. Surrounded by rolling South Yorkshire landscapes, peaceful country parks and welcoming village pubs, it’s an ideal setting to slow down and savour time away from the everyday.

Spend your mornings strolling around nearby lakes and woodland trails, breathing in the fresh air. Enjoy relaxed lunches in cosy cafés, browse local attractions, or explore the grandeur of Wentworth Woodhouse just a short drive away. The hut is embedded in the rolling South Yorkshire landscape, outside the hut door you will be greeted by the Nature Reserve and our 6 seater sauna pod, cold shower and outdoor wooden shelter before you wander the maze, the stone circle and bathe in the calm, isolation and warmth of the sun or meander the small lakes and pathways.

Back through the woodland walk you will find the hub of Aston Springs.

Aston Springs Farm – A charming working farm where you can see and feed friendly animals and enjoy easy walks and a farm café. Great for a laid-back half-day visit.
